She's Waiting There

Here's some footage from our exciting appearance on Good Morning Arkansas!

9/5/09 - Eureka Springs

Why do we love the Squid and Whale?  Number one, they're our friends.  Number two, the owners, Tony and Dee, have made their establishment into a Pirate Bar, which means that between songs you can simply assume a pirate accent and your between song banter becomes totally legit.  I hope you will all be tempted by this posting to come to our next show there.

8/19 - 24/09 - California!

We have just returned from a wonderful and remarkable trip to California: a whirlwind tour that saw us play four shows in five days!  Of course none of it would have been possible were it not for the guys from 2Me, who we played all but one of the shows with and put us up for five days and nights.  Everywhere we went we were received very well by our audiences, and overall it was the kind of experience that makes you really happy to be a musician.  Now that we're back all I can think about is doing the same thing all over the country: traveling, playing music, making friends, and shaking hands with Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Which reminds me, the weirdest thing about California is that Arnold has an armored convoy that takes him everywhere he goes.  It just doesn't seem right that the star of the movies Red Sonya and Commando should need any help protecting himself!

Joe signals the for the bartender to send another pitcher to the stage at Marilyn's in Sacramento.

7/24 & 25/09 - A Weekend of Festivals

First of all, thanks to everyone who made Bare As You Dare the smash success that it was.  Special thanks to Allison Cornett who took 115 awesome photos at the show!  It was a stupendous show--sold-out, naked people everywhere, panties flying, bras flying, men in their underwear--needless to say I had a blast.  Now on to this weekend.  We hope everyone who can make it will join us this Friday for the first annual Jam Jazz Festival at Cadron Creek Campgrounds just outside of Greenbriar.  We'll be playing a two and a half hour set there before heading to Tulsa the following day for D-fest.  For directions to Cadron just google 54 Cargile Lane, Greenbriar, Arkansas 72058.  For D-Fest info, go to www.dfest.com.  Hope to see you all out there!

Damn Bullets get down superstyle at Bare as you Dare (thanks Alllison!).
